On Tuesday, April 12 the Robbins and Fox Libraries will join libraries across the Commonwealth and the nation to provide a 'snapshot' of what happens in a day in the life of libraries. How many books are checked out? How many people receive help finding a job? Doing their taxes? Doing their homework?

During Snapshot Day, libraries will collect data and photos that help demonstrate the value of libraries and raise public awareness that libraries are busier than ever.

Everyone can participate: plan to visit the library that day to borrow reading materials or to check out a DVD or CD, use the library's computers to access the Internet or our online databases, attend a children's program, or receive assistance from our librarians to research a question for you. If you are willing to have your picture taken for a statewide publication, please contact the library at 781-316-3201.
