(Saturday, July 16, 2-4pm): A fun, social way to get children (7-10yrs.) excited about reading. Lively discussions about the last four chapters of author Burleigh Muten’s story collection, including related word-finds, followed by optional (discounted) pottery painting inspired by the book.

Book title and pottery discounted for participants. Pre-register at 978.369.1770. Limit of 8 children. Ages 7-10. Club is free with (discounted) purchase of the book.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Take the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop and you will arrive across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just over 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
