Foster your elementary school child’s love of reading with this unique, fun book club as we read the last four wise woman tales from many cultures. Lively discussion and related word-finds, followed by optional pottery painting inspired by the book, will make for a great afternoon!

Book title and pottery discounted for participants. Ages 7-10. Club is FREE with (discounted) purchase of the book. Remaining 2011 Book Clubs: Nov. 12/The Snow Queen; Dec. 10/One City, Two Brothers. Pre-register to attend; Limit of 8 children.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
