Ling shares her daring escape from China, her heartbreaking discovery of true and false freedom in America, and what propelled her to turn to an even higher calling. Today, Ling is motivated by the quest to abolish China’s one-child policy and end the “gendercide” that has killed 400 million girls in her homeland in the past 30 years.
Banned from the very country she has long fought to save, Ling’s human rights work has resulted in two nominations for a Nobel Peace Prize and recognition by Glamour Magazine as “Woman of the Year”.
