Does your child (age 7-10) have a great imagination?
Do they love the idea of 'writing stories' but get stuck along the way?
Don't miss this 90-minute workshop where children learn the basic elements of solid creative writing (character, setting, plot and dialog), then select fun themed prompts to unleash their inner voice.
This interactive workshop -- led by Barefoot staffer Helen Kampion, MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults -- will allow children to stretch their imagination and learn from one another's fiction writing.
Writing journals provided.
Enrollment in multiple winter workshops allow children to practice the elements learned.
Offered 1/19, 2/9 & 3/16.
$35 per workshop; save $10 when you register for all three workshops.
20% sibling discount.
