Wednesday, March 1 at 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Storytime at the Museums - In the Library In this first installment of our exciting new Storytime at the Museum program, preschoolers and their caregivers will learn how much fun a library can be with Amelia Bedelia, Bookworm.
Children will then be invited to create their own book, which can be added to each time they come back for Storytime.
This program will be held in the Dewing Library Exhibit at the Durant-Kenrick House & Grounds.
- Free for kids (18 months to 6 years old), parents, & caregivers.
- Programs include reading from children's book, activity, & museum takeaway.
- Focus on play, Newton history, literacy, & lessons from our two museums.

The Durant-Kenrick House is the bright green house located on the corner of Waverley Avenue and Kenrick Street near Newton Corner. Bikes and a few cars can be parked in the lot adjacent to the building. There is ample additional free on-street parking.
Take exit 17 from the Mass Pike.
