Boston Chinese New Year Parade 2024 | Lunar New Year
Chinatown's Lion Dance Parade in celebration of the Year of the Rabbit will occur on Sunday, February 18th, 2024 from 10am-3pm. Opening ceremony at 10am by Phillips Square (near the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Beach Street).
The parade route steps off at 11:00am at Phillips Square (by the corner of Essex Street and Harrison Avenue) and will march along John F. Fitzgerald Surface Road.
Enjoy lively music, traditional lion dances and all of the revelry and excitement that the Year of the Rabbit brings.
The Chinese New Year parade gives visitors you a great opportunity to see traditional Lion Dances - and a perfect excuse to visit one of the neighborhood's delicious restaurants.
Following the parade, all are invited to enjoy the Chinese New Year Cultural Village from 11:30am - 3:00pm. The event will take place at 2 Boylston Street, Across from CVS & Orange Line (Chinatown 'T' Stop).
Wrap up two weeks of merrymaking and end your New Year festivities with a bang.
