It is with great sadness, that we announce the cancellation of the 2023 Brockton Fair

The Brockton Fair, a city staple since 1874, isn't just canceled for the third year in a row. It's not coming back. Read More Here.

The annual Brockton Fair will NO LONGER take place at the Brockton Fairgrounds, Belmont St., Brockton MA.

The fair will offer thrilling rides, fireworks, demolition derby, wrestling, live music & more! Visitors can enjoy fireworks on most nights - check here for the fireworks schedule.

Reithoffer Shows is providing the fair midway again this year. Of course there's the never ending variety of 'test your skills to win a prize' booths accompanied by a wide selection of amusement rides and attractions.

There are numerous “pay one price” days for rides see our website for dates and prices.

Route 93 South to 128 North to Route 24 South-Exit 17A on to Route 123 East. Follow ramp onto Belmont St. (Rt. 123 East). The Fairgrounds is two miles up on the right.

From The North:

Fabulous Brockton Fair

I disagree with the past negative reviews because every fair and event has gone up in price. You can't escape it, but the Brockton Fair is terrific. For an 8.00 adult ticket, that is inexpensive nowadays, and the rides and food is right in line with other fairs. They have fabulous entertainment, animal shows, rides, food and games are all exceptional. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Brockton Carnival

The Brockton Fair is not what it used to be - Certainly not what you would expect if you used to go when there were contests to see who could grow the largest pumpkin or most beautiful quilt, sheep showing, tractor pulls, etc. If you would like to go for the rides and games, taking the family during the afternoon is the safest bet. They do have ATMs which is a good thing because, as one reviewer mentioned, the rides and food are expensive.

Dissappontment

Very expensive as the ticket cost are high and you need a lot of tickets per ride. I brought $30.00 worth of tickets and my granddaughter was able to get on 4 rides. The games ares very expensive as well and seem to be rigged as you could get a small prize but but the bigger prizes were far and few between. By the time you get to a big prize you could have went and brought it from the store cheaper! Some of the food was okay for fair prices. I was, as she, very dissappointed she couldn't get on a lot of the rides as I refused to but more tickets. Couldn't play a lot of the games as they were expensive. I took her to Canobie lake park the following Saturday as I had promised her a day on the rides and games and we had a great time and was there all day!!

Rides Too Expensive

I took my 3 year old - he was too short to go on the rides, even the kiddie rides, by himself, so I had to go on all rides with him . Before I knew it we had gone through over $30 in tickets (that was maybe 5 rides!). The food was very expensive too.

Brockton Un-Fair

Expensive and lacking in the typical 'fair' ambience that you would expect. Watch out for grifters and pickpockets once you get by the 'pocket-picking' at the gate.
