Celebrate cultural diversity and enjoy a variety of activities including dancers, songs, crafts, and musical performers representing many countries.

Watch ethnic artists and participate in storytelling, dancing, Chinese calligraphy, Chilean and Mexican crafts, face painting and much more at the Newton History Museum at Jackson Homestead.

Refreshments included with admission.

2:00 pm - rain or shine

Admission:
NHS and WGBH Members - $5 per person and $15 per household;
Non-members $7 per person, $17 per household.

About the Newton History Museum at Jackson Homestead:
The Newton History Museum presents permanent and changing exhibits on a variety of historic topics. Discover what life was like for New England’s earliest settlers. Learn about the abolition movement in Newton and how the Jackson family used their home as a stop on the Underground Railroad. The museum houses the Newton Historical Society and holds an extensive library and research collection.

Museum Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday, 2:00m - 5:00pm
Closed Mondays and major holidays

Admission:
Adults $5.00; Child/Senior $3.00 Newton Residents: Adult $2.00; Child/Senior $1.00 Newton Historical Society Members: Free

Directions:
The Newton History Museum is located at the corner of Washington Street and Jackson Road, between Newton Corner and Newtonville. From the Mass Pike take Exit 17 and follow the signs for West Newton. The Museum is one-third mile west of the exit. Visitor Parking is available. The museum is handicap accessible.
