The Concord Orchestra, conducted by Richard Pittman, will present its annual family concert on Sunday, December 5. News anchor Steve Aveson will narrate Paul Patterson’s setting of Roald Dahl’s Three Little Pigs. Members of the Bedford High School String Orchestra will play the Brook Green Suite by Gustav Holst.

Also on the program is The Thieving Magpie by Gioachino Rossini. Concerts are at 2:00 and 4:00 pm at the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden Street, Concord. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for children. For tickets and information, call 978-369-4967 or visit www.concordorchestra.com.

From Route 128

Take Route 2 West to Route 126 (this will be the first traffic light AFTER the light where Rt. 2 takes a sharp left at bottom of hill by a Mobil Station). Turn right onto Walden Street and continue into Concord Center. You will pass the Court House and Fire Station on your right. 51 Walden is on the right hand side, just after the Banknorth sign. If you get to the end of Walden Street, you have gone one block too far. Parking is available behind the Post Office.
