When Daniel is returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island guide Ti Moune on a quest to test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death.
Concord Youth Theatre is having a new black-box theatre built at 358 Baker Ave in West Concord. They thought it would be ready to highlight Once on This Island as our first production, but that was not to be. But...the cast has been patient, very well rehearsed by now, and anxiously awaiting you to come and see their show.
CYT is very fortunate to have been able to secure The Concord Museum, 200 Lexington Road, for this production. They have a beautiful space in a building separate from the main museum, and we're happy to say that our production will be presented there for two weekends.
Show dates are:
Fridays, Jan. 11th and 18th at 7:30pm
Saturdays, Jan. 12th and 19th at both 2:30 and 7:30pm
Sunday, Jan. 13th at 2:30pm
Seating is limited, so it's recommended that tickets be purchased in advance at our website at: www.concordyouththeatre.org. Tickets are $13 each. Recommended for ages 4 and older.
