Calling all chess players!

Join us for an afternoon of strategy, intellect, and fun –a Chess Tournament at Fuller Craft Museum.

Beginner, intermediate, and advanced players are all invited to four rounds of chess playing officiated by Tournament Director Nicholas P. Sterling, Ph.D., NESA, USCF Chess Tournament Director.

This tournament is organized in collaboration with the Massasoit Chess Club and Massachusetts Chess Association (MACA).

Come simply to observe or play to win!

The registration fee (players and observers) is the cost of admission to the Museum.

11:00 am – 12:00 pm Registration U.S.

Chess Federation Membership in NOT required for registration.
12:00 – 4:00 pm 4 Rounds of Chess.

Everyone plays all 4 rounds.
A prize will be awarded to the top player in each section.

Pre-registered players should check in by 11:30 PM.

Getting to Fuller Craft is simple. Just three minutes off Route 24. One exit past IKEA if you’re going South on 24. Stop by and visit us on the way to or from the Cape.
From Route 128, 495 or 93 to Route 24:
• Take Route 24 to Exit 18B, Route 27 North (Stoughton).
• Take a right at the third light onto Oak Street.
• The Museum is one mile down on the left.

By Public Transportation:
• Take the Commuter Rail, Middleboro/Lakevilleline to Brockton station, or take Brockton Area Transit (BAT) Bus #12 from Ashmont Stationto Brockton station.
• Then take Brockton Area Transit (BAT) Bus #4A to the Museum (request stop).
• Look for the large green sign on the right.
