Join us at Dalby Farm for exciting, fun-filled days of nature and animal discovery. Learn to appreciate the importance of conservation and preservation through hands-on activities.Feel the softness of a chicken's feathers.

Explorer (K, 1st, 2nd) Learn about farm animals and their habitats. Explore them through your senses. Hear the rooster crow and feel the softness of sheep's wool.

Discoverer (3rd, 4th) Do you know how the Egyptians used pigs to plant their crops? Discover the role of the plants and animals on the farm and their importance in our everyday life.

Caregiver (5th, 6th) Join in and learn about the ways of, care and upkeep of the animals on the farm. Find out how to recognize poison ivy plants and see how to trim a goat's hoof.

Fun Place To Visit

We visited Dalby Farm in late May as part of a group tour; everyone had a wonderful time! Cheryl, the farm owner, was great to work with in setting up our visit, and I'd recommend this as a field trip for anyone!
