In this six week beginner session, we'll focus on building a repertoire of beginner steps in reels and jigs, while focusing on rhythm, timing, and technique. Special attention will be paid to understanding the relationship of the movements to the music and to enjoying the community tradition of Irish dance. We will also learn some of the basics of Irish social dances – ceili dances, set dances, etc. The emphasis here is on fun and community while still focusing on the important elements of this dance form!

Classes are 45-60 minutes long, on Saturday mornings or afternoons (specific time TBD), please contact for more information. This is a 6 week session.
