Modern Dance Technique and Performance Workshop
The class will move through a warm up that builds strength and clarifies alignment principals followed by fluid phrases with an emphasis on performance quality, focus, and presence. The Performance Workshop (8:30-9:30) will focus on a collaboratively created work of choreography over the six weeks.
Each class costs $95 for the whole session. If you would like to sign up for both classes for the whole six weeks, it would be $190. Both classes take place Jose Mateo Ballet Theater, 400 Harvard Street, Cambridge, MA.
Kelley Donovan has performed work by Liz Lerman and Ann Carlson and has taught dance at CasaNia, MIT, Springstep and currently teaches modern dance at UMass Bosto, and Third Life Studio. Her choreography has been produced by World Music/Crasharts, MIT, Harvard and The Federal Reserve Bank in Boston and The Cunningham Studio, Joyce SoHo and the 92nd St. Y in New York City.
