Commonwealth Ballet presents: EDGE
In the premier of 'Sirens', choreographer Juliana Utz recalls the moments when Odysseus, at the edge of sanity, is tempted by the sirens's song in the limpid blue waters near Capri. (Costume design by CBC alumna Emma Werowinski.)
The company revives the sharp edges of Monica Levy's contemporary movement to Michael Torke's challenging music, 'Adjustable Wrench'.
Chip Morris's presents the interior drama of two couples, mediated by 'Love's Shadow'.
Finally, choreographer Denise Pons challenges the lyrical music of Ottorino Respighi by setting courtly dance against modern sensibilities.
