Summer nights just got hotter in Harvard Square! Join us on Brattle Plaza (in front of Crema Café, 27 Brattle Street) on Friday, July 21st from 7pm – 10pm to sample a variety of salsa from some of Harvard Square’s hottest spots! Take a dance lesson, sip a ‘mocktail’ and salsa the night away to infectious Latin beats.You can’t have a salsa party without salsa music! Our musical host for the evening will be DJ D. Martinez. D. adds his unique blend of Latin sounds at some of the hippest Latin dance events in and around Boston. Accomplished Salsa and Latin dance instructor extraordinaire, Jennifer Earls will be teaching us Latin dance steps and how to move with rhythm and style that grabs attention on the dance floor. She's performed and taught Salsa professionally with the world-renowned Masacote Entertainment's Latin Dance Company, and has been dancing and instructing Salsa and other Latin dance forms for the past 9 years.
All that dancing will make you work up an appetite! Satisfy your salsa and chips cravings with samples from El Jefe’s Taqueria, Charlie’s Kitchen and others. The Beat Brasserie will host a ‘mocktail’ bar with creatively crafted non-alcoholic versions of your favorite adult libations, available for a nominal charge.
