Con Fuego! - Spanish classical Music & Flamenco Dance
¡Con Fuego! will take the audience on an exhilarating journey of Spanish classical music with original flamenco dance and song at the Casey Theatre in the Regis Fine Arts Center in Weston.
On October 17th from 4 – 5:30 p.m. in Regis Fine Arts Center’s Sullivan Studio Theatre, La Conja and Larget-Kaplan will lead a flamenco dance workshop which will include basic footwork, hands and arms, compass, and choreography.
Both the workshop and the performance will be free and open to the public.
Noted for his “astounding technical proficiency and artistic delicacy” by the Boston Musical Intelligencer, classical-world guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan is an international recording and touring artist.
He has premiered over 80 compositions and his recordings are available on Albany, Navona, and Stone Records UK.
He is the founder of ¡Con Fuego!
Spanish music and flamenco dance ensemble, and has performed repeatedly in Spain.
Aaron is a graduate of New England Conservatory and he is on the Performing Arts faculty at the University of Massachusetts.

La Conja is one of the Flamenco World’s most versatile artists.
She has developed a substantial international reputation as a dancer, singer, and choreographer.
She has performed at the prestigious Guggenheim Work and Process Series, in collaboration with New York’s World Music Institute.
She has toured nationally and internationally with such artists as Jose Molina and Jose Greco featured as solo dancer, and has also appeared at Lincoln Center with Sarita Montiel.

Hailed by The New York Times as “imaginative and eloquent” and dubbed “a local hero” by the Boston Globe, cellist Rafael Popper-Keizer maintains a vibrant and diverse career as one of Boston’s most celebrated artists.
He is principal cellist of the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Emmanuel Music, and the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and a core member of many notable chamber music organizations throughout New England.
The Casey Theatre is Regis College's premiere venue for performing arts.
Located just off the Atrium Lobby on the first floor of the Fine Arts Center, the Casey Theatre hosts approximately 35 events and performances throughout the year.
