BoSoma Dance Company's 18th Season Spring Show
Artistic Director and Choreographer Katherine Hooper's The Pursuit (2014) is about the work/life balance and the juggle of finding one's purpose within the hustle of building a career, job security and family.
One of BSD's signature works, Parachute, is a powerful display of explosive movement, spatial design, and 'skirtography'. Dressed in the exquisite costuming by Gloucester-based designer Jen Greeke, dancers grace the stage with a newly crafted opening section.
The newest work commissioned by cancer survivor Rose Flynn to create about her battle and recovery features company dancers Stephanie Boisvert and Courtney Costa. This piece, about a personal journey through a difficult time and the rise out of the darkest days, will offer a moment of intimate contemplation.
To round out the evening of dance, BDC will perform Lindsey Leduc's energetically charged Lost it to Trying and Hooper's, Reflection, set to the classics of artist Billy Joel, evoking nostalgic memories for all who experience the journey.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to celebrate live dance coming back to the historic Larcom Theatre stage!
