The story opens as the king and queen of Never Nod announced the birth of Princess Briar Rose. Meanwhile, the tormented witch, Evilina and her giant spider, have plans for a terrible curse to be placed upon the poor young princess. Sixteen years later, it's up to the dashing Prince Alexander to come to the rescue!
