This Spring, we celebrate a promising group of middle and high school students from communities in the Greater Boston area. These youth have been participating in programs from the education group at the MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research.
Come and enjoy our youth's performances that feature beautiful visual aids, clever demonstrations, oral presentations and astronomy-inspired theater and planetarium shows.

Driving from the West (I-90) (Mass Turnpike)
Cambridge/Brighton exit (exit 18). Following the signs to Cambridge, cross the River Street Bridge, and continue straight about 1 mile to Central Square. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue and follow Massachusetts Avenue for about a half mile until you have just crossed the train tracks, then turn left onto Vassar Street. The Stata Center is at the end of Vassar Street on the right, just before it meets Main Street. Park in the East Lot on Main Street, which is just past the building on your right. No permit is needed to park in the East Lot after 5 p.m. See below for additional parking.

Parking:
Park in either the EAST LOT/East Annex Garage adjacent to the Stata Center on Main Street or the Hayward Street Lot. Map Permits are not needed for these lots after 4 p.m. There is NO GUEST PARKING in the Stata Center Garage. Additional parking is available for a fee in the Marriott Parking Garage on Ames and Broadway.
Public Transportation (the T):
Take the Redline and exit at the Kendall Square stop. You are now on Main Street. Walk on the same side of Main Street as the Cambridge Trust bank and walk west on Main (away from the river) until you get to the intersection of Main and Vassar, where you will see the above building on your left. Enter! Time: this is about a 5-7 minute walk.
