Art DIASPORA unravels the uniquely different and beautifully intertwined stories of the African Diaspora. Featuring new works created by the internationally-acclaimed artists of AAMARP ,* Springstep’s exhibition offers a juxtaposition of diverse artistic media and cultural influences that draw on a common humanity.

Featured artists: Jeff Chandler (wood carving), Kofi Kayiga (painting), Hakim Raquib (photography), and Susan Thompson (textiles).

*AAMARP is the African American Master Artists in Residency Program, an adjunct of the African American Studies Department at Northeastern University

All work will be for sale, unless otherwise noted.

Exhibit runs January 28 - April 16, 2010
The gallery is open during normal business hours, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (except holidays). It is also open evenings and weekends when other programs are in session.
