4-starExtraordinary Visit
It is worth a trip to the New Arts Center in Newtonville to enjoy this exhibit. In addition to viewing beautiful and varied puppets in all shapes, sizes, and styles, there are phenomenal arts supplies available so that you can make your own. There is also a puppet theater you can use and a screen for using shadow puppets. I went with my 4 year old daughter and we had a great afternoon -- checking out the different materials used, crafting our own puppet, and performing puppet shows for one another. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!!
