Faces of Africa: Safari Photo Exhibit

Spend some time on an African safari at Franklin Park Zoo. View animals, birds, people, and landscape all photographed in Tanzania, Africa in the three largest national parks: The Tarangire, Ngorongo Crater, and The Serengeti.

Photographs taken by Mindy Pollack-Fusi on display at Franklin Park Zoo’s Meeting Barn. Pollack-Fusi is a writer and photographer. She captured these images on safaris in Tanzania, Africa in late October of 2005. Visitors can also view a one-hour video of live action!

Photographs will be available for sale, with 10% percent of the profits donated to Zoo New England and 10% to the Kamusi Project's Internet Living Swahili Dictionary.

Summer Hours at Franklin Park:
June 1 - September 30
Weekdays: 10:00am to 5:00 pm
Weekends: (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day): 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
