What if you could take a giant step back to the Jurassic period to see what was happening in your backyard then?

DinoTracks is the next best thing to traveling back in time. Using fossils as clues for learning about New England dinosaurs, this interactive exhibit invites visitors to walk on prehistoric footprints, hear and feel dinosaur footsteps, and come face-to-face with some of the dinosaurs that made them.

DinoTracks engages adults and kids alike in a fun exploration of the fossils found right under our feet, how these footprints came to be, and what they tell us about dinosaurs.

Opening Celebration
Saturday, January 19 & Sunday, January 20
Celebrate the opening of DinoTracks with dinosaur-themed activities all weekend. Free with museum admission. EcoTarium members may bring up to four guests for free this weekend.

Super-Saurus Saturdays
Every Saturday at 2:30 p.m. (January 5 - February 16)
Size yourself up to a dinosaur in these weekly interactive science activities. Free with museum admission.

DinoTracks, which is presented in English, Spanish, and French, includes three life-size dinosaurs -- Dilophosaurus, Coelophysis, and Stegosaurus - as well as the following interactive activities:

Practice tracking skills on a 15x20 foot photo reproduction of a real trackway discovered in Connecticut
Step onto life-sized dinosaur prints and touch a real footprint found in a Holyoke, Massachusetts backyard
Hear and feel the footsteps of a dinosaur when you sit on the Jurassic Park Bench
Run as fast -- or creep as slow -- as the dinosaurs did
Discover how to 'read' the stories in fossil tracks to measure a dinosaur's speed, size and activity
Find out how scientists today are using emus, turkeys and lizards to discover how dinosaurs really moved
And more!

DinoTracks was produced by the Environmental Exhibit Collaborative, a group of mid-sized natural science and children's museums organized by the EcoTarium. It is made possible by grants from Jane's Trust and the Cabot Family Charitable Trust.
