Grand Opening of Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop
The Old North Foundation will celebrate the grand opening of Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop, April 13 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
In partnership with Mars Chocolate North America and the Freedom Trail Foundation, Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop will feature American Heritage Chocolate®.
Explore the history of chocolate, including how it was produced and consumed, and its connections to Boston and the Old North Church.
Enjoy demonstrations and free samples of 18th century chocolate!
The Clough House is also home to the Printing Offices of Edes and Gill, Boston's only colonial-era printing experience.Watch live demonstrations of the printing of the Declaration of Independence and learn the important role printers played leading up to and during the American Revolution!
The Clough House will be open Saturday and Sunday April 13th- June 15th, and seven days a week June 16th-October.
$2/person suggested donation for both Captain Jackson's and the Printing Offices.
