The Faith-Based Cancer Disparities Network (FBCDN), formed in 2006, is a collaboration of nine churches in the Boston area, Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC), the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston, Inc.
(BMA) who marshaled their collective efforts and resources to bring forth culturally appropriate programming to eliminate cancer disparities within communities of color.
The primary purpose is to improve the health and well-being of our community by reducing cancer mortality and morbidity and eliminating cancer disparities.
