Paintings by Louise Arnold and Kat O'Connor will be on display in Emerson Umbrella's gallery. Their work portrays the familiar materials and detail of everyday life and transforms them into lyrical forms.

A reception is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and everyone is welcome.

This show brings together two Massachusetts artists whose work portrays compelling, honest and beautiful images that show the viewer the scope of the larger natural world through their attention to the smaller detail – a topic much discussed, but so rarely achieved in art.
