Fab Fads: Fifty Years of Fabulous Fads exhibit
From poodle skirts and hula hoops to pet rocks and disco dancing, fads have been taking the country by storm for years.
Wenham Museum’s Fab Fads exhibit explores the biggest toys; fashions and music to hit American pop culture from the 1950s on.
Young visitors – and the young at heart – will enjoy playing with reproductions of the vintage toys on display, experiencing the rise and fall of hemlines in the costume closet and dancing “The Twist,” “The Hustle” or “The Macarena” in this family-friendly exhibit.
Adults are invited to come dressed as their favorite fad and enjoy FAD-ulous games, cocktails, and tunes at a Fabulous Fads Halloween Cocktail Party on Friday, October 25.
