MakeScience: A Science Fair at Artisan's Asylum
That's right, a Science Fair, like with tri-fold posterboards, dioramas, and fizzy volcanoes...
but Asylum-style.
This means: a fun and social event, where art & science tend to get a little crazy.
Check out our 25+ exhibitors, meet interesting people, and get inspired to start your own project or learn a new skill or craft.
Our shared workshops house an incredible variety of tools...
come and see!
Bicycle design, 3D printing, laser cutting, welding, jewelry, woodworking, robotics, fiber arts, machining, digital design...
we offer over 50 classes per month!
We have a range of classes for all skill levels: beginners can gain hands-on experience and seasoned professionals can refine their skills or simply get tested to use the tools in our shops.
We also offer a range of membership options (ranging from day passes to 24/7 access), and storage and studio workspace.
We'll be holding tours of our facility throughout the night, and have volunteers on hand to answer questions.
The event is free and open to the public (all ages welcome, but children must remain supervised).
