The Light Between: Artist Meet & Greet and Interactive Art
On Thursday, April 23rd, Anne will hold two Meet the Artist events, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 – 4:00 pm.
Students can talk with Anne Patterson about the vision behind the installation and expressing individual artistic creativity.
Students will also have an opportunity to create their own masterpiece, based on their perspective of the installation.
The event is free and open to the public.
Youth organizations are also invited to attend.
The Light Between is a large-scale art installation located in the Atrium at 125 High Street in Boston.
Inspired by the music of Michael Gandolfi, a Boston-based composer at the New England Conservatory, the installation is constructed of hundreds of colored aluminum strands, each color representing a different celestial element.
This piece seeks to heighten the natural light in the man-made, 8-story atrium of 125 High Street.
