The World's Longest Rowing Boat on Display
In the fall of 2000, Switzerland opened the world’s first ‘scientific consulate’ in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
15 years later, swissnex is a global network, with offices in Boston, Brazil, China, India, Singapore, and San Francisco.
To celebrate the occasion, we invite you to drop by on the afternoon of Friday October 9, to say hello and have a look at a big piece of innovation, naturally Swiss made: the world’s largest rowing boat, also known as the Stämpfli Express!
The boat will be displayed on the green in front of the Cambridge Public Library, right across the street from swissnex Boston.
For this special event, The Canton of Basel-Stadt, sister state of Massachusetts and our partner for this event, will be there to welcome you with a fun quiz… and there’s nothing less than a trip to Switzerland at stake!
Follow Along The Stämpfli Express is an eye-catcher – and eye-catchers make for good pictures!
Don’t forget to tag your posts with #swissnexOnTour for a chance to win a very cool prize.
PS: This is only one stop of our big tour with the Stämpfli Express.
