From the Sea to the Mountains: Trustees 125th Anniversary
In honor of Massachusetts’s oldest and largest conservation organization’s 125th anniversary, in partnership with the Boston Public Library, The Trustees have opened “From the Sea to the Mountains”, a map exhibition at the Norman B.
Leventhal Map Center.
From April through August visitors have the opportunity to explore the maps, photographs, and historic artifacts that showcase the 125 years of stewardship and conservation the Trustees have brought to Massachusetts.
From a bird’s eye view, the Trustees’ From the Sea to the Mountains Map exhibit will give visitors a greater understanding of the rich history of Massachusetts from a variety of perspectives all while being introduced to many of the Trustees owned properties.
Aimed at cultivating an appreciation for the natural, historical, and cultural treasures Massachusetts has to offer, this exhibit is a great way for anyone to explore Massachusetts and see how organizations like the Trustees work to continue to preserve exceptional places.
