The Davis Museum and Cultural Center at Wellesley College invites the community and their families to Family Day at the Davis on September 30, 1-3 to celebrate the reopening of the Davis Museum and Cultural Center at Wellesley College and get a taste of the Museum’s offerings. These activities are designed for students K-8.
There will be tours, healthy kid refreshments, coffee for parents, hands-on gallery adventures, and an art project led by a guest artist.
This event will highlight the exhibition “Don’t Look.” Contemporary Drawings from an Alumna’s Collection (Martina Yamin, Class of 1958).
While you’re at the Davis Museum, parents are also invited to listen to new podcasts related to Phase I of the reinstallation of the permanent collection. To hear or download these podcasts for the newly reinstalled American and Narrative galleries, go to www.davismuseum.wellesley.edu/whatsnew/podcast/html.
