It is free and open to the public.
Who is MICE for?
MICE welcomes any and all who are interested in reading comics, making comics, or even just learning more about them.
The free to attend weekend event hosts comics makers excited to share their work, hands-on workshops for artists of all skill levels and ages, unique panel discussions, and more.
What can i find at mice?
Unlike mainstream comic conventions, MICE is focused on the creators of independent, small press, and self-published comics.
Here you can find original works that explore the possibilities of sequential art, unique, personal stories, and rare gems from exciting new comic artists and writers.
About our host
The School of Visual Arts' new Visual Narrative MFA Program, led by comic book artist Joel Christian Gill, is one of only a handful of programs in the country focused on producing media such as comics, long form graphic novels, picture books, and animation.
