Enjoy the museum’s galleries including a world famous international doll collection featuring a 1500 BC Egyptian funerary figure to Native American Kachinas, European porcelain dolls, American cloth dolls, 20th-century play dolls and Miss Columbia, the doll that traveled around the world. Train fans will enjoy The Bennett Merry Model Train Gallery with 10 model train layouts in various gauges that operate at the push of a button, railroad memorabilia, antique toy trains, and train experts to answer questions on railroading and model trains.
Don't miss this summer's special exhibition, Rescue Me! Fighting Fire in America where you can learn about the progress made over the last three hundred years through exploring equipment, artifacts, apparel and hands-on activities. Cold Cash Crop explores Wenham Lake Ice Industry (which produced Queen Victoria’s favorite ice!) Children pretend to live in Victorian times in the museum's interactive Family Discovery Gallery including a child-size house and country store with touchable replicas of the museum's permanent collections.
Discover life in 17th-century New England with a guided tour of the Claflin-Richards House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Families will also enjoy playing traditional games on the museum lawn throughout the day. Proof of residency must be presented at time of admission.

Wenham Museum is located a short drive from Salem on Route 1A between Beverly and Hamilton andis a short walk from the Hamilton stop on the MBTA commuter train. Parking is free and the museum is handicap accessible, excluding the second story of the Claflin-Richards House. A children's playground is located across the street behind the historic Wenham Tea House.
