Please join the Braintree Historical Society in welcoming the Colonial French Regiments Saintonge and Bourbonnais for a weekend of eighteenth century activities and games celebrating Franco-American unity after the Siege of Yorktown.

The Liberty Day - Fete du Liberte celebration will include a farmer's market, military drills, children's march, children's games, fencing, open hearth cooking, dance performances, a lantern tour, visits by Mr. and Mrs. Adams, and eighteenth century music and dancing by candlelight in the evening.

Encampment and activities are free, tours of the 1785 Sylvanus Thayer Birthplace are available for a small fee.
