The Kunyuk School Ribbon Cutting: Celebrating Hope, Strength and Excellence. This special event will take place at Bethel AME Church, 38 Walk Hill Street in Jamaica Plain on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 1-4 p.m.

This long-awaited celebration will bring together families and friends, members of the Jamaica Plain, Bethel and Temple Israel communities, elected officials, and a host of supporters as we celebrate the opening of the Kunyuk School for Girls in Akon, Sudan. This free outdoor rain-or-shine event will include a ceremonial ribbon cutting as well as food, international music, dance, and interactive entertainment.
