The 1-mile fun run/walk along the Charles River will precede the community picnic and “Backyard” themed kids festival with activities ranging from potato sack races to face painting. There will also be a Diaper Dash for children 4 and under.
Wally the Green Monster and other local officials will be on hand to add to the excitement of the day. The event is open to participants of all ages.
