More than 20,000 books in good condition will be for sale, Saturday, June 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 129 Main Street, Concord, MA. Books are carefully sorted into more than 20 categories for easy browsing and priced to sell: mass market paperbacks 4/$1, large paperbacks $1, hardcover books $2, children's hardcover $1. Specials and local interest priced as marked.
Scanners OK, no hoarding, expedited checkout for large purchases.
The sale sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library. Proceeds are used to buy library books, movies, CDs, museum passes and to fund concerts, poetry readings, and author talks. For info or to volunteer for the library, email friends@concordlibrary.org. Rain date: June 19.
