Families interested in camping this summer will have a great opportunity to learn basic camping skills Saturday June 26th in Arlington MA. Local non-profit Bay State Kids Outdoors will host a family-oriented camping fair including demonstrations on setting up tents, packing a backpack, outdoor cooking and choosing a camp site. The event, called CampingPalooza, will run from 4-6pm in Robbins Farm Park, 55 Eastern Ave, Arlington MA. The fair will also have fun games, prizes, and snacks.

Bay State Kids Outdoors is a non-profit group dedicated to getting kids back into nature. They are offering family camping trips to the White Mountains and Berkshire hills this summer. The group also runs weekly Sunday nature walks in the greater Boston area. More information can be found on the group’s website www.bsko.org.
