Event Info: MusicFestLive! is an outdoor community event showcasing up-and-coming talent in the Boston music scene. DJ Ron Boston, and two local and independent bands will play outside on the Plaza offering a chance to enjoy an afternoon outside with friends and family for fun, food, dancing, and live entertainment.

The bands are: 1.) Kingsley Flood (voted Best Roots Act in the Boston Phoenix’s 2010 Best Music Poll @2:30p.m., and 2) pop-infused electronic trio, Liptease@3:45p.m.

The Audience Chooses the Winners: The bands will be judged by the audience on the following criteria: professional performance, audience appeal, and musical ability. The bands will win a first prize of 20 hours of recording time from Q Division Studios and a $100 gift certificate to Anchovies Food & Spirits.

$10 admission, Children 12 and under free

A variety of food carts and vendors will be at the event, including: South End Pita, Del’s Lemonade, Yummy Mummy Brownies, Improper Popper, Slush King, and Fenway Park’s “The Sausage Guy.” Narragansett is the beer sponsor for the event.
