Kids and their families will be inspired by films about environmental activism – as well as hands-on activities – at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival EcoFest at Atlantic Wharf. The Wild and Scenic Film Festival combines stellar filmmaking, beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling. View Film Lineup
The afternoon will include international short films, puppet-making, a kids’ matinee, kid-focused environmental activities, an eco-marketplace, and a cinematic tribute to Kenyan Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai.
The festival uses film to inform, inspire and ignite solutions and possibilities to restore the earth and human communities while creating a positive future for the next generation.
This festival is a fundraiser for “e” inc., an environment science learning and action center whose pairing of science education with community action leads to environmental change in urban communities.
