Many of the area's 130 businesses will have sidewalk sales, giveaways, and other promotions. Local restaurants will cook and serve food outdoors. Festivities will be celebrated along Mass. Ave. from the Capitol Theater block to JN philips Glass Co. Come and join the fun.
In addition, ArtBeat will be celebrating their 10th Birthday Party during Feast of the East this Saturday (rain date Sunday). Join them for a hands-on project (that's the ART) and drumming (that's the BEAT) from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and for balloons and birthday cake starting at 2:00pm.
