The Barbecue and Farm Day takes place out side under tents beside the stand and includes:
Food served a la carte:
• Traditional BBQ made in Verrill Farm’s own smoker. Choices include pulled pork, ribs and chicken, plus cole slaw, beans and Verrill Farm’s famous sweet corn on the cob.
• Desserts and beverages will also be available.
Free entertainment
• Live music by Hokums Heroes
• Lil Folk Farm petting zoo
• 11:30 am - 2 pm: Sheep Shearing Demonstration by Kevin Ford
• Display of modern farm equipment
Activities - there is a small fee for these
• Giddy Up Pony Rides and • Hayrides
Apple Pie Contest - no fee to enter
• 11 am - 1 pm: bring your apple pie to the judging table Please attach a card with your name & phone number.
• 1:15 - 1:30 pm: Judging & winners announced.
