Children can enjoy a variety of beach games and crafts including making an octopus, limbo, balloon animals, and DJ entertainment.
Children can also observe and touch live local tide pool animals from The Traveling Tidepool hosted by the New England Aquarium.
Admission also includes pizza, ice cream, and refreshments.
Beach-goers are encouraged to wear their splashy beach attire.
There will be a raffle of local prizes and all proceeds will benefit the Arlington Boys and Girls Club scholarship fund.
“Children have so much fun at this event and parents are excited to keep them entertained and at the same time to help out the Boys and Girls Club,” says Louise Friel, AFC President.
“This is a great introduction for families who are interested in checking us out and joining the Arlington Family Connection.”
Arlington Family Connection (AFC) is a local nonprofit connecting children six and under and those who care for them.
