Hanukkah?

… Already?...

YES!!!

On Sunday, November 24th beginning at 12:00 Noon through 2PM, Temple Shalom of Medford, located at 475 Winthrop Street, invites the community to a fun-filled celebration of the happy holiday of Hanukkah.

Start your Festival of Lights with a menorah-lighting ceremony, followed by first-rate children’s entertainment, music, arts & crafts, games, traditional potato latkes, a book fair, and more.

All are welcome.

Boston-area entertainer Davey the Clown will perform a 45-minute show of stellar, silly juggling, amazing magic, incredible unicycle tricks, wacky antics, tons of audience participation, and a musical parade.

Kids (and adults) will roar with laughter!

Hanukkah Party Highlights Include:

DAVEY THE CLOWN: A hilarious performance of juggling, magic, unicycle tricks, wacky antics and music, with audience participation, geared for children of all ages and their families.

YUMMY HANUKKAH TREATS: Crispy hot potato latkes, soft, sugary sufganiot (Hanukkah-style jelly doughnuts), and chocolate Hanukkah gelt will give guests a taste of this festive holiday.

SPECIALTY CRAFTS & GAMES: Menorah making for all ages, hands-on Hanukkah craft projects for kids, spinning dreidels and an array of exciting kids games, will keep families laughing and learning.

JEWISH CHILDREN’S BOOK FAIR: High-quality children’s books, rich in both Jewish content and cultural diversity, will be available for purchase.

Temple Shalom invites all community members to come experience these fun and tasty Hanukkah traditions with old friends and new.

COST: A contribution of $10 per family is suggested, along with a donation of a new, winter clothing item for a child, to be donated to a local shelter.
