The Festival is an opportunity for MetroWest families to come together to celebrate eating well, staying active, and living naturally as a family.
The event will feature fun and energizing activities including face painting, tables with information from local businesses focusing on health and wellbeing, and a live performance by Rolie Polie Guacamole.
The event will take place at the weekly Natick Farmer’s Market on Natick Common and will draw on Natick’s existing community of healthy-living focused families.
At the event will be two local organizations focused in healthy living.
The first is the Natick Community Organic Farm, a nonprofit, certified-organic farm providing productive open space, farm products, and hands-on education to people of all ages, year-round - fostering community goodwill through love of the land.
Also present will be the South Middlesex Opportunity Council’s MetroWest Harvest Initiative, who will collect quality-donated food and prepared meals to shelters and food pantries where they are distributed to those in need.
Rolie Polie Guacamole is a hip 'kindie' band from Brooklyn, NY.
Their high energy, interactive shows are a mix of funk, rock, and folk music mashed into original tunes about natural living, eating healthy, and staying active.
The band is a hit across the east coast and mid-west, with top picks by Boston.com, Time Out Kids NY, and Time Out Kids Chicago.
Their latest album, Houses of the Moly, won a Parents' Choice Silver Award and a NAPPA Honor's Award.
Come celebrate with TCAN as we celebrate the release of their new album, Triathlon.
