Tour the world in your own backyard!
WorldFest is returning to Downtown Woburn on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 1-5 pm.
Admission is free.
International artwork and crafts will be available for purchase, as well as food from around the world.
Sample Brazilian sugarcane juice, Persian sweets, and Indian delicacies.
Performers entertaining the crowd this year include Gund Kwok Troupe Lion Dance, Cuban musician Coco Torres, Ku’s Taekwondo Academy, Hakuna Matata Dancers, Winchester Chinese School, Indian Bollywood Dancers, and the Korean School of New England.
Free children’s activities and performances will delight the little ones.
Kids of all ages can fold origami, create Día de los Muertos masks from Mexico, enjoy face painting, make African toys, and explore the world with a whole host of activities.
Children earn passport stamps that will get them a free treat from Orange Leaf of Woburn.
Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon of culture!
WorldFest will take place on the Woburn Public Library Lawn at 45 Pleasant Street.
Rain location is the Woburn Memorial High School, 88 Montvale Ave.
This year’s WorldFest is being planned by members of the YMCA International Learning Center’s Leadership Team, in partnership with Social Capital Inc.

Parking
Free parking for the afternoon may be found in the Library Field lot behind the library or in the City Hall parking lot across Pleasant Street. There is also a large municipal lot behind the Bowladrome in Woburn Center.

Driving From the North
From Route 93, take 128/95 south. From 128/95 take Exit 34, Winn Street south. Follow for approximately 1.7 miles to end at Woburn Center. Turn right onto Pleasant Street and the Woburn Library is the brown stone building on the right, just past the Mobil station.
Driving From the South
Take Route 3, Cambridge Road north to Four Corners in Woburn. Take a right onto Lexington Street. Continue for approximately 2 miles. The Woburn Public Library (45 Pleasant Street) will be on your left as you approach Woburn Center, just before the Mobil Station.
