Meet our oxen and see multiple teams demonstrate plowing and preparing the fields.

Help with the harvest, taste heirloom apples, and learn about methods of food preservation.
Watch interpreters cook with tomatoes and quince.
Help pick apples and taste the different heirloom varieties.
The Cider Mill will be operating this weekend (and most weekends in October), with apples ground by ox-power on Saturday and the pulp pressed for its juice on Sunday.
You can even get in on the act with a hand-powered 'cider mill'.
Join our costumed interpreters as they:
Harvest apples, potatoes, carrots, and beets Give tours of the orchard
Put the Herb Garden 'to bed' for the season Conduct garden and root cellar tours and discuss food preparation Grind corn with a 'quern'
Thresh and winnow grain
Shell corn and beans
Churn butter
